Krish R. Krishnan:
Mr. Krishnan has over 20 years of experience founding and managing environmental, alternative energy, and technology companies across 15 countries and 4 continents. He has been involved in developing renewable energy projects within the hydro, wind, solar and solar/wind hybrid power generation sectors. Krish has been developing carbon projects in South Asia since the U.S. Initiative on Joint Implementation (sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy in 1990) which served as the model for the Kyoto Protocols Clean Development Mechanism. Krish was also involved in the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. Krish has provided expert testimony to the U.S. Senate and other congressional forums on environmental issues. Krish maintains extensive relationships with major corporations and government agencies internationally and across South Asia.
Mr. Krishnan received a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and MS in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.
Herman Delatte:
Mr. DeLatte is a Partner at Solid Ventures and a Venture Partner at Big Bang Ventures. Mr. DeLatte’s areas of expertise include: business intelligence, business process management, and network and systems management. He combines a strong international and operational software background with six years of venture capital experience. He joined NeSBIC as a General Partner of the CTe Fund in July 2000. Mr. DeLatte was previously the Chief Executive Officer of a Clean Technology company in Boston for three years and also the Chief Operating Officer of Micrografx in Dallas for three years, after spending three years as a Senior Vice President and General Manager of the same company’s international subsidiaries. Before joining Micrografx, Mr. DeLatte served as a Managing Director in major areas of Europe for Ashton-Tate Corporation. During the first ten years of his career, he held various development, account management, sales, and sales management functions at Control Data and co-founded two software companies in The Benelux, Ores, and Madesu.
Bill Flynn:
Mr. Flynn retired as a Navy Commander in 2000 after 8 years active and 12 years reserve duty. In the corporate world he was a marketing manager at Unisys Defense Systems and a Senior Director at McDonnell Douglas for 4 years. Mr. Flynn was also the Vice President of the Federal Division, at Yurie Systems, which had a successful IPO in 1997, and was sold to Lucent in 1998 for over $1B. He founded WareOnEarth Communications, Inc. which specializes in Information Assurance and Network Security services for the federal government. As CEO, Mr. Flynn has witnessed annual growth of 50-100% with 400 employees. He has founded WareOnEarth Communications, Inc., which specializes in Information Assurance and Network Security services for the federal government, and Syngineering Worldwide, Ltd., an entity which allows access to Indian Knowledge Process Outsourcing and the emerging US market for clean energy.
